This opaque purple wine has sweet fruit, and lots of it, giving up notes of blackberries and black currants, but not a lot of additional subtlety or complexity. The Dauzac 2010 is juicy, relatively powerful, but at the same time, monolithic and not as nuanced or impressive as many of its nearby neighbors. Nevertheless, there is a lot here, and time should prove to be favorable to this relatively back-strapping, muscular, full-bodied Margaux.
